VSoL Retaining Wall system
The system utilises polymeric strips as soil reinforcement. The reinforcing elements and backfill material are alternately laid to form a composite soil body, which transfers stresses very effectively to the footing bottom. The polymeric strips are anchored into concrete pre-cast facing panels, the shape, colour and texture of which may be suitably adapted to architectonic concepts.
VSoL reinforced soil wall system requires only the three above main components. This simplicity results in easy and rapid construction. Considerable savings are regularly achieved in comparison with the traditional monolithic retaining wall systems.
VSL offers following bar systems to suit all geotechnical applications: ground anchors, soil nails, rock bolts, and micro-piles. They can be used to anchor retaining walls, stabilise deep excavations, anchor tower cranes, stabilise galleries during excavations, stabilise unstable soil, and secure embankments. Systems may be supplied either as permanent or temporary with a corresponding corrosion protection. Besides the delivery of bar systems, VSL also offers consultations on projects, the system installation including grouting, and on-site supervision.
